Improve Foodservice Cleaning Quality and Environmental Friendliness with new Ultima Foodservice Program from Sunburst Chemicals

Closed-loop foodservice system delivers consistent quality, improves employee safety and significantly reduces landfill waste and water usage

MINNEAPOLIS, MN -Sunburst Chemicals introduces the Ultima Foodservice Program. Ultima is a complete closed-loop system consisting of six highly concentrated liquid products for dish machine, 3-bin sink and pre-soak foodservice applications. Products are packaged in convenient 1-gallon and 1/2 gallon F-style containers. They are used in a color-coded, closed-loop system that ensures proper product usage, avoids the potential for mixing incompatible chemicals, and eliminates potential employee injury from lifting heavy pails or making contact with the chemicals themselves.

Components of the system include Ultima Result automatic dish machine detergent, Ultima Sparkle universal rinse aid, Chlrobrite dish machine chlorine sanitizer, Ultima Pot & Pan manual detergent, Quick San 10 disinfectant and sanitizer, and Ultima Pre-Soak. The highly concentrated formula of each product can reduce water usage by up to 75 percent, and utilize smaller, more user-friendly containers that can reduce plastic waste by up to 75 percent compared with traditional 5-gallon product pails.

"The three dish machine products provide a fantastic alternative to 5-gallon pails. The system comes with wall mounted racks, allowing the user to get the product off the floor and out of the way. The products are approximately twice as concentrated as traditional products, meaning that a 2-gallon case is almost equal to a 5-gallon pail. Where liquids are required or appropriate, this is the ideal solution," says Tim Laughlin, Vice President of New Product Development.

The presoak and sink products are also provided with wall mount racks and are about twice as concentrated as traditional products. This means the 2 x1/2 gallon pack is approximately equal to 2-gallons or more of traditional chemistry. These products are great for situations where liquid dispensers are already in place, or as an alternative to solid dispensing in applications where solids aren't the optimum fit.
