TERRITORY SALES MANAGER

Sunburst Chemicals seeks qualified applicants for the position of Territory Sales Manager for the Dallas, Texas area. The Territory Sales Manager's primary focus is to service and provide sales leadership to Distributors in this market.

Sales Duties:

  • Recommend detergent and supply quantity for Distributor inventory
  • Conduct sales training and cultivate Distributor sales teams
  • Develop sales strategies to penetrate target markets and achieve short-term and long-term objectives
  • Uncover client needs and recommend orders for detergents, service and supplies
  • Prepare sales forecasts and reports as requested

Service Duties:

  • Provide regularly scheduled maintenance for Sunburst dispensers and related equipment in assigned accounts
  • Service dispensing and related equipment in assigned accounts in emergency situations
  • Prepare for and install new dispensing equipment and upgrades
  • Review and troubleshoot client-owned equipment for functionality and repair or clean, as required

Qualified applicants will have 2+ years of institutional cleaning, sanitation industry, large institutional laundries or related experience in restaurant, foodservice or hotel / hospitality management. We seek candidates interested in continuing a career of success in sales growth and management. A technical or Bachelor's Degree is desired. Up to 30% overnight travel, required.

NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER

Sunburst Chemicals seeks qualified applicants for the position of National Account Manager for its customers in the Restaurant Market. The Sunburst's National Account Manager's primary focus is to work with new and existing Restaurant chain account customers to ensure the product and service expectations of our customers are met or exceeded. In this role the National Account Manager establishes working relationships at several levels with the customer, as well as within Sunburst.

Responsibilities:

  • Penetrate all levels of the customer in order to grow the business in a profitable manner.
  • Function as a consultant to the customer on food service sanitation, store cleanliness, corporate image, employee training, etc.
  • Analyze programs and make fact-based recommendations to the account.
  • Align Sunburst Chemicals' strengths with customers' vision, portray a professional example, and communicate corporate successes and strategies to all levels of the organization.
  • Work closely with Sunburst Director of Training and customer training departments to develop relevant, quality training programs.
  • Collaborate with local Field Management to formulate action plans to address problems and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Using CRM, keep all customer and contact information up to date.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by anticipating problems, presenting solutions and following up in a timely manner.
  • Review National Account scorecard with customer to address any positive/negative facts about the customer's account.
  • Achieve sales and profitability goals with the account based on the sales plan.
  • Create annual budget based on sales plan and manage spending throughout the year to come in
    at or under budget.
  • Act as liaison with Marketing to maximize Sunburst brand awareness in the Restaurant Market and to apply strategic plan objectives..

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years sales experience with major accounts
  • Restaurant/Foodservice Sanitation industry experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, communication, organization, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to communicate written and orally
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred (Management, Marketing, Liberal Arts)
  • Ability to travel - up to 30%
  • This position resides at corporate headquarters in Minneapolis, MN

REGIONAL SALES MANAGER

Sunburst Chemicals is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Regional Sales Manager for the Southern California/Arizona Region. The primary focus of the Regional Sales Manager is to provide leadership and direction for the Distributors in the Region and drive Key Account sales.

  • Develop and implement Mutual Business Plans with distributors.
  • Oversee "key account lists".
  • Facilitate sales discovery, sales presentations and closes as required.
  • Develop contests, incentives and promotions.
  • Inspire team spirit and motivation.
  • Conduct sales meetings.
  • Implement product/technical training programs.
  • Provide assistance and sales training to sales staff of Distributors.
  • Actively prospect and close new business in target markets.
  • Pursue chain account opportunities based in the Region.
  • Maintain approved budgets and gross margin contributions.

A qualified applicant should have 5+ years of institutional cleaning and sanitation industry related experience with a proven track record of sales growth and management. Experience with food service sanitation and/or institutional laundries a plus. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Some travel (6-12 overnights per month) may be required.

TECHNICAL SERVICES ASSISTANT

Technical Services Assistant primary focus is to provide continuous development and implementation of a
technical support program, providing support for end-users, distributors and sales reps.

Responsibilities:

  • In-house technical support including technical support calls and monitor call report system
  • Product testing and evaluation (lab testing, and field testing)
  • Report regularly on results and recommendations to keep product development moving forward
  • Assist with dispenser inventory and maintenance
  • Assist with cleaning and repairing of all returned equipment
  • Provide general support including assist Technical Service Coordinator and Technical Service
    Support

Qualified applicants will have 2+ years experience preferably in the institutional cleaning and sanitation
industry including large institutional laundries, restaurant, foodservice or hotel / hospitality management.
