Customer applications include institutional laundry, food service, housekeeping/janitorial and various industrial applications. Sunburst Chemicals is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Territory Sales Manager for the Seattle/Tacoma area. The primary focus of the Territory Sales Manager is to provide sales leadership and direction for the Distributors in the Region.
- Actively prospect and close new business in target markets.
- Pursue chain account opportunities based in the Region.
- Oversee and monitor Distributor’s Sales activities.
- Develop and implement Mutual Business Plans with distributors.
- Oversee “key account lists”.
- Facilitate research, sales presentations and closes as required.
- Develop contests, incentives and promotions.
- Inspire team spirit and motivation.
- Conduct sales meetings.
- Implement product/technical training programs.
- Provide assistance and sales training to sales staff and Distributors.
- Maintain approved budgets and gross margin contributions.
A qualified applicant should have 5+ years of institutional cleaning and sanitation industry related experience with a proven track record of sales growth and management. Experience with large institutional laundries and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field is desired. Some travel will be required.
